Say Hello to our newest 5th grade teacher!
Hello parents and students!
My name is Mrs. Olsen and I am going to be your new teacher in 5th grade! I’m so excited to come and learn more about you! I just graduated from Utah State with my Bachelors degree in elementary education and can’t wait to jump into the schools!
A few fun facts about me
⁃ I went to Three Mile Creek when I was young and the school was brand new.
⁃ I love to be outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, riding horses and 4-wheeling.
⁃ I have been happily married for about 3 months now.
I am so excited to learn all the fun facts about you and watch what this year will bring! I’m sure you will be hearing more from me soon, and I would love it if you contacted me with any questions or concerns that I may be able to help with!

In 5th grade Science, we are learning what plants eat. And we discovered they eat air! We then did an investigation to find out if air has weight. If you have a 5th grader, ask them what we did and what they discovered.

Sand Mandalas! In art we studied Mandalas from different cultures that are created out of sand. Tuesday art classes got a sense of what it is like to create these temporary collaborative pieces of art.
