2023-2024 Student Supply Lists:

The items on this list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis. Otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.

2nd Grade

Mrs. Allen

Each child will need:

  • Standard sized pencil box--If you choose to purchase one that has a key, please keep the key at home

  • 2 PLASTIC pocket folders (the paper ones do not last the year)

  • 1 composition notebook

  • 1 pair of scissors

  • 1 glue stick

  • 1 box of 24 crayons (Crayola are best) PLEASE do not send more than 24 crayons

  • 1-2 fine point (not extra fine or chisel tip) dry erase markers 

I would appreciate classroom donations of:

  • Cleaning wipes (we use these EVERY single day)

  • Fine point dry erase markers

  • Decorative pencils (I have plenty of standard pencils)

  • White cardstock

  • Playground equipment (kickballs, basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, jump ropes, tennis balls)

  • Glue sticks

  • Tissues

  • Colored copy paper (any color)

  • Small toys, treats, fidgets, etc. for our treasure box

Purchasing school supplies is an exciting aspect of going back to school. 2nd graders can use supplies quickly! I do ask for a few things to be donated to help our students. Please keep in mind that school supplies are on a voluntary basis, you do not have to buy school supplies. We will provide the below items for your child if necessary.
