More sand mandalas from Wednesday’s art classes! (Sorry 4th grade—I started sweeping it up and remembered I didn’t take a picture!)

Sand Mandalas! In art we studied Mandalas from different cultures that are created out of sand. Tuesday art classes got a sense of what it is like to create these temporary collaborative pieces of art.

This month the artwork of our Tuesday art classes (DLI Purple, DLI Red, Mrs. Hardy’s Class, and DLI Black) will be featured on the walls at school. Ask your student about their Mandala.

Specialty classes started this week! Library, Life Skills, P.E., Computers, and Art!

Our fifth graders are practicing some teamwork as they try to ski on 2x4s.

Students earn explorer tickets for great acts of service, following rules or helping others. When they turn them in at the office they get on the 100 board, and their tickets gets to entered into a prize drawing for these awesome prizes!
